The Dress

After getting engaged, I was convinced that I'd be that cool bride who tries on 3 dresses and picked something practical after 45 minutes. Well, seven appointments later ... my "laid back" self-image was shattered. But I did finally find this Sareh Nouri dress.

At 34, I still struggle with body image and this dress eliminated some deep-seeded fears of not being perfect at my wedding. I certainly didn't burst into tears when I tried it on, but picked it because it fit. There was no "if only I toned xyz then I would look perfect"-- it looked great when i found it in February and great when I wore it 8 months later in December 2022. It was elegant, modest and flattering.
