The Dress

Bespoke lace and satin lined dress with built in train & lace cover sleeves.

Originally crafted for an Autumn wedding for 57kg 165cm bride.

Satin strappy bodice - straps can be adjusted at front. With lace crossover overlay bodice sewn in, lace sleeves down to wrists with guipure lace and button detail and hand sewn sequins.

Dress is fitted to hips and then gradual flare out into built in train with guipure lace trim detail.
Train can be looped up onto button at base of zip to keep off the floor for dancing - no need to carry.

Invisible zip closure at rear through dress and bodice from just below hips to nape. Button detail through lace bodice (decorative not fastening)

Flower pattern lace from small family UK company - only run twice a year off loom at time of dress being made.
Lace trims are flowers on the train and sleeves and leaves on the bodice crossover.

The combination of a strappy satin bodice and the lace sleeves overlay allows the comfort of air and breathability with a touch of elegance and decorum making this dress suitable for whole day wear, ceremony and reception, with the train being able to be scooped up in a second to dance the night away.

There is room to make adjustments inwards for smaller sizing but as this is a bespoke made dress there is no excess material for adjustments outwards. Have a serious discussion with your dressmaker about options if you will need adjustments to make sure you understand what the changes will mean.
