The Dress

This is a stunningly beautiful satin dress in champagne color. The satin has a nice weight and shimmers in the light. The length has a versatile train that can be tied from the inside underside of the dress with easy to match color coded ties. I wore the train for the ceremony then My bridesmaids helped tie the train so I could enjoy the reception with the shorter version. Once tied the back makes a very pretty cascading effect.
The strapless bodice is pleated to hip level. This not only creates a slimming effect but emphasizes the bust and de-emphasizes the waist and hips. The skirt is straight with 7 panels making a straight smooth line in front and back, the side panels create a gradual flair past the thigh to accommodate the train.
I loved the feel of this dress, so elegant, timeless and flattering, I felt like a Greek goddess wearing it. The photos do not do it justice as what is so lovely about this dress is the color, the weight and the feel of the fabric.
There are just a few tiny snags from my bracelet catching on the fabric but they are hardly noticeable.
This dress was professionally dry cleaned recently.

Alterations

The dress was professionally altered at the very high end and reputable bridal retail site I purchased it from to fit my smaller figure but could be easily let out to accommodate a truer size 10.
