The Dress

This is a simply beautiful custom-made Suzanne Neville dress, designed and fitted by Suzanne herself at her flagship store in Knightsbridge, London. The dress is a combination of the following styles and fabrics from existing, current dresses:

- "Aspen" lace and bodice
- "Ruby" keyhole back (sits higher to accommodate larger bust)
- "Vivienne" long internal corset

The Vivienne corset gives greater structure than the original Aspen dress. The dress is designed to fit a larger bust (I am a 34GG). The sleeves were also customised to be 3/4 length. Finally, 2 x nets were added for volume underneath (although these can be removed) and to create a more trumpet style silhouette.

The dress was worn for approx 4 hours at our destination wedding for just the two of us in Costa Rica in Dec 2022 so has suffered no wear or tear. I'm an older bride (50) and this was my second time married, but this dress made me feel incredibly special! The fit was spot on, the crafts(woman)ship is immaculate - I really hope another bride has the opportunity to wear it and feel as wonderful as I did.

Dry cleaned professionally at Terrington Burchett. In-person try-ons welcome (based in Berkshire, UK).
