The Dress

To say this custom creation is more beautiful in person is an absolute understatement!! I felt like Cinderella in this showstopper!!

The truth is I bought two dresses to make one because I just couldn’t find what I was looking for.

After trying on countless dresses I finally took matters into my own hands and hired a seasoned seamstress to carefully remove the lace top from Sarah Seven’s Opal dress and combine with a satin, softly flowing ball gown inspired skirt with pockets - that’s right ladies this dress has freaking POCKETS!!

This gorgeous gown is ultra lightweight with a mesh V neck front and an open deep plunging back. There is a double clasp at the back of the waist to secure the dress and a zipper lined with hand-sewn beads.

My seamstress sewed in a liner throughout the lace top but I wanted to ensure nothing would show through so I wore adhesive bra petals and shape wear just to be safe. I can send pics of the shaper I wore so you have an idea. I also recommend a slip of sorts under the skirt due to the fact that when the sun shines you can faintly see the outline of your legs (I only realized this after I got my pictures back 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Just for reference I’m 5’5” without heels, weigh 145lbs & naturally a 34B on top. I have curvy hips, a small waist & and an athletic build. If you happen to have a bigger chest, I will say the top does have a little wiggle room but the waist is pretty set at around 27”.
