The Dress

This dress is a real showstopper! I tried on lots and lots of dresses and the savin London alika really stood out to me. I felt like a princess and when else can you feel like that but on your wedding day! I do feel attached to this dress but I’d love for someone else to enjoy it and feel as special on their day. The dress has a crepe v neck top and embroidered tulle skirt. There is a pretty tie at the back with ties as a bow. I also have a cathedral length veil that was custom made to extend just past the length of the dress. I am 5ft6 and wore mid sized block heels so would suit anyone of a similar height or smaller. It’s a size 10 but fitted to more of an 8. The top is quite fitted and would suit someone with a smaller bust but the bottom is light and floaty. It has a fairly long train which you can bustle for dancing although I actually changed into an evening dress to avoid any damage. I paid £3295 for the dress new. It was ordered in July 2022 and worn in June 2023. It was a dry day so marks to the dress are limited and it has been dry cleaned. I have taken a video to show the bottom hem.

Alterations

I had the dress taken up (I am 5ft 6 and wore medium heels), and taken in around the bust and waist. Would fit a size 8.
