The Dress

Selling my beautiful fit and flare IDRIS Ronald Joyce wedding dress, which I purchase for my wedding this summer (2023). Bought in a size 10, I had it altered professionally to fit size 8/9. I am 5' 4", and wore 3" heels.

The beading and applique details made it feel really special, with just the right amount of sparkle. The soft crepe fabric body, while fitted, felt very comfortable all day - and I had a bustle added at the back allowing the train to be kept out the way. I had the train shortened from the original dress, which I found much more relaxing to wear. The star of this dress is the back, and the reason I bought the dress - it's intricate and beautifully detailed.

We had a very small wedding, so it's also not seen any moves on the dance floor - hence it's in amazing condition. I've had it professionally cleaned by a wedding dress specialist cleaner, with a dress bag included. There is an ever so slightly loose button from the bustle use on the back, but easy to have the thread tighten. It's not marked as a flaw as it's very minor. You can see this in the video.

Alterations

The length and hips have been taken in from a standard size 10 to fit size 8/9.
