About the Dress

Jenny Packham’s Imari wedding dress is a real show stopper. 1930’s, art deco inspired sophistication. The epitome of vintage-inspired glamour, this gown glitters with silvery beading on flowing silk.

100% silk charmeuse, bias cut with a heavily embellished ruched waist and beading cascading down the gown to the floor, and on the straps. Gorgeous plunging neckline, cut-out back, beautiful shoulders and a small train; Glamorous, elegant and luxurious.

The dress has been worn once for 8 hours on my wedding day in January 2013. It has been taken up but I wore very high heels. The dress is in fantastic condition with no stains on it, I had it professionally cleaned at a specialised dry cleaner the bridal store – Helen Rodrigues in Neutral Bay - recommended. It is boxed in acid free paper. My ceremony and reception was held indoors at the same venue – the dress has not been outside!

So comfortable to wear and great for dancing all night – I couldn’t have been happier with my gown.
