The Dress

Minimal, elegant and bold. This beautiful ex-showroom sample which I bought for my day in 2022. It is in very good condition with wear on the hem.

This beautiful gown is made of stretch fabric (excepted around the bust) allowing for a very comfortable wear. Although there is very minor pilling the material is very forgiving to this being removed. I had the dry cleaner give it a ‘shave’ before I wore.

I had the dress tailored slightly to the bust. And slightly hemmed from the original length. I am 183.5cm tall no shoes and wore a combo of 3cm and 10cm shoes with the dress on the day. So if you’re shorter than me you’ll be hemming it anyway and the existing wear will be removed. As a guide the front is 142cm long and the back is 159cm to end of train.

The dynamic folded bodice may require attention from your seamstress as some of the treads have come loose.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by a bridal specialist and it boxed in tissue paper. It will need a steam but again the fabric is really easy and forgiving to work with.

I feel that the price is reflective of the origin and second hand condition. But please feel free to ask for more images.
