The Dress

The most incredible and unique gown that I could find for my wedding... the Monique Lhuillier wedding dress from her exquisite 2022 Bliss Collection.

Made of beautiful tulle, this one-shoulder wonder has a slightly elevated front hem, allowing your beautiful shoes to peek through. The overall effect is both charming and chic, I felt like I was floating on air while walking down the aisle. And the compliments were incredible!

Designed to create an hourglass silhouette. The fitted bodice will fit a size 0 up to a size 4 thanks to the slight alteration I made to cinch the top more (an extra hook that accommodates a size 0, but can be easily unused, removed, or moved for a size 2 or 4). I'm also including the satin belt that was an additional $225. The layers of tulle allow a lot of forgiveness, so you don't have to worry about specific undergarments, VPL, or unfortunate angles in photos. Could look incredible on any body type!! I am a 32D, size XS, size 0 in pants with NO booty, so this dress helped a lot with that (wink wink). It can create OR hide any kind of curves.

I only wore this dress for my ceremony (I had different first look and reception dresses), and it was worn on turf, so no dirty ground or grass stains at all! No stains or sign of wear at all, and it comes in the original dress bag.

Alterations

A hook was added under the arm to be able to pull the dress a little tighter if desired. This doesn't have to be used, or can also be easily removed without damaging the dress. The satin belt had the hooks moved to make it tighter so the waist would be more cinched. Again, the hooks can be easily moved back to their original position without harm to the belt. These alterations allow the dress to be flexible from a size 0 up to a size 4 (in street sizes) without any costly alterations for you!
