The Dress

I truly think this is the most gorgeous wedding dress I have ever laid eyes on and had the pleasure of wearing on my most special day. I tried on maybe a hundred gowns and this was the most light, comfortable, dreamy, and ethereal gown that I tried on. The attention to detail in every hand sewn flower and the bead work cannot be given justice in photos. It also has some sparkle, which was so gorgeous in the sun as well as in the evening when dancing, which you cannot see in photos unfortunately. Something that I loved about this dress and made me pick it above all others is how comfotable and lightweight it is. It was like wearing a light nightgown honestly. I was able to move around and dance the night away with no issues whatsoever. I added beautiful custom off the shoulder straps with the same handmade tulle flowers and beadwork as the rest of the dress, which really accentuates the upper body and came out stunning. My alterations lady also made a custom bustle that is very simple, as I didn't want anything complicated. It is just one loop attachment that is hidden and took my friend 3 seconds to adjust after the ceremony. It looks just as beautiful bustled as it does with the train. You can also see in the photos, I tucked the shoulder straps in later in the night, which made arm movement a little easier for dancing and looked so pretty to have it be strapless for some portion of my night as well. I have held on to this dress for a little over a year now, because it's been hard to let go, but I only plan on getting married once. :) I hope some other special woman gets to enjoy this dress as much as I did. I have a lot of friends that later wished they chose something else or something more comfortable and light.. I have zero regrets and wish I could put this on everyday to feel like the ethereal magical fairy princess I felt on my special day in this dreamy custom gown!

I have the original receipt for the dress, the tag, as well as the alterations. The dress has been dry cleaned for $400 and is in absolute perfect condition with zero stains or tears anywhere. Alterations

The dress was a size 10, because I have a pear shaped body (small upper body and waist with wider hips). The seamstress took in quite a bit from the top (I am a 34 B/C cup depending on the brand). This dress is extremely flattering if you are trying to minimize your hips! I also had custom off the shoulder straps added in the same fabric and handmade beading as the rest of the dress by the desinger herself. Lastly, my seamstress added a very simple easy to use bustle option, which was perfect for dancing!
