I am 5'11" and wore two inch heels so no matter how tall you are, you'll have the length to work with! I have a very long torso and found this dress to be very flattering on my body shape; the draped crepe along the bodice was very forgiving on my stomach area, even after a full day and evening of drinks and food. The dress is a size 12; I wear between an 8-10 in regular clothing, depending on the brand.

Because I wanted to feel extra secure, the seamstress created custom straps for me so my dress does not have the detachable draped sleeves. However, the existing straps could easily be removed and replaced.

The boning in the bodice is both secure and comfortable enough that I didn't need to wear a bra or tape (I'm a bra size 36D). The train has a French bustle.

The dress was worn on the day of and was immediately specialty dry-cleaned.
