The Dress

I bought this dress in October 2022 as a size 24. I lost weight over the following months and had it altered in May 2023. When I wore the dress on 3rd June i was a size 18 and it fitted perfectly with the corset back as close together as possible but still showing the detail of the bodice. I would say that it would fit someone upto a size 22. It comes with a multi layered underskirt with a hoop to add volume. I have just had the dress fully dry cleaned, although nothing was spilt on it, it was just a little dirty from dragging on the floor. It has a beautiful train and hidden hooks to tie the train up for the evening. I felt beautiful in this dress and really want someone else to feel good in it too. It's very supportive, so much so that I didn't need to wear a bra! (That never happens!) The only alterations that were made was: taken in at the sides and straps being taken in. The length is the original length but could be taken up for someone shorter or wearing flat shoes. There is a tiny snag hole in the top layer if netting approx the size of a 5p which cannot be seen when wearing or could be hidden if dress gets taken up by about 1" .
