The Dress

This was the dress of my dreams
We got married at MONA in Hobart after dating for 13 years and it was magical.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sell the dress after getting married but it seemed a waste just to sit in storage forever.
I had georgette sleeves added, and the dress hemmed to fit me as I’m a short gal. I usually wear size 12 dresses, but decided to size up for this one to let the beadwork drape more nicely over my my body.
This dress has not been dry cleaned yet, but the price reflects that.
It comes with a cute beaded belt, I’ll throw in the veil too which is 250cm long.

Alterations

The dress was altered for my height (I’m 155cm without heels). I also had georgette sleeves added to the dress. All alterations were done in house with Karen Willis Holmes in Sydney
