About the Dress
Whilst the website says that The Cleo is a "midi length version" of the Malene gown, it's definitely not a Midi unless you're about 7 feet tall. It was full length on me (and then some) i'm 5"5 and it had a small train at the back, perfect for those not wanting a full train but don't want tea length. I wore it for all of about 2 hours before changing into a jumpsuit because I was on the beach in 35 degree weather in Mexico. SUCH a comfortable dress, could wear my normal undies with no VPL and no bra because of the cups that I got added. Fabric is incredibly soft and you can actually feel the quality when you run your hands over it. And the best part is it was SO easy to transport, I flew to several places in Mexico before the wedding, rolled up into my country road bag, and the seamstress told me to just let it breathe at every location in its bag hung up and the fabric will right itself - she was NOT wrong, I Didn't even have to steam it or anything before the big day.
Made from a lustrous Viscose satin with a subtle slub through the fabric, giving it a beautiful silk like texture. Featuring a V-neck at the front with narrow straps over the shoulder that lead to a cutout back with a covered button and loop detail to fasten it. The diamond cut out in the centre front exposing a subtle amount of skin for the romantic bride. The skirt is bias cut and slightly more A-line, balancing out the silhouette.

Alterations
Alterations were $400.
I went to the tailor who had actually made the dress in Sydney and she put cups in that would fit an a - d. She hemmed the front a little as I didn't wear heels, just Bared flats. I had her add a finger loop and a bustle so that I could decide on the day how I wanted to pin for first dance.
But she was very deliberate in how she hemmed as she knew I would resell and said it would be really easy to let down.
If you decide to buy, I can put you in touch with her and she’ll be able to reverse the hemming and whatever else you need.
