The Dress

WISH gown from the Fall 2020 collection in WHITE, size 0. This dress is a Monique Lhuillier Icon: Part of an extraordinary collection of heirloom designs that highlight the understated regality, tradition, and heritage of the Monique Lhuillier brand.

The dress is super romantic with beautiful floral lace embroidery and a long cathedral length train. The V neckline in combination with the structured skirt makes your waist look tiny but effortless. Floral lace embroidery has white and gold lace, so your dress will shimmer when it catches the light. It's a timeless statement piece, and I got endless compliments on my wedding day.

The dress has been altered at the Monique Lhuillier NYC boutique. Alterations include:
- shortened to 5'7''-5'8'' (right around 5'7 1/2)
- added removable cups
- added waist belt on the inside of the dress to help secure when wearing
- created a bustle. The bustle of the gown is made to sit at the waist and blends in perfectly with the length of the skirt (doesn't look like there is a bustle there!)

This gown was worn for photos and ceremony only. It's in great condition, and is currently being professionally cleaned (cost of $1k to clean the gown).
