About the Dress

Too beautiful to keep on a rack! I'd love to see someone else enjoy wearing the dress.
The dress also includes a matching veil. I'm selling together and not separately. The veil is a great prop to capture some beautiful photographs.
This was the very first dress I tried on and I fell in love with it! It's easy to move in and throw shapes in on the dance floor. It's great if you're concerned with your tummy area and you want to hide it. I was 9 weeks pregnant when I first tried the dress on and it hid my post birth tummy perfectly! You will not need assistance with toileting.
The dress is made with a combination of silk and crepe silk. The veil is made from crepe silk. There is a bow at the back of the dress to keep it secure.
I've had the dress professionally dry cleaned. The end results can be seen in photographs 1, 2 and 3. I haven't noticed any damage, wear or tear. I asked the dry cleaner to check, none were noticed. I've paid an additional amount to have the dress and veil stored in a preservation box. This is to reassure the buyer it has been cared for and is of high quality.
The dress was a perfect fit for me, it has been altered. It's fitted at the top. You wouldn't be able to wear a bra with this dress. I'd strongly suggest high quality tape. The dress flares at the bottom and sits at my ankles if I wear heels. I wasn't wearing my heels in photographs 6 and 7. I was wearing slip on sneakers.

Alterations

I've had the dress professionally altered at Penrith Bridal Centre. The straps have been reduced, I'm 175cm tall. The bust has been taken in. I'm between a B and C cup. The dress has been taken up from the bottom as it dragged too much on the ground. I also had a loop and discreet button sewn in under the bow. The train of the dress can be looped and buttoned up to stop the fabric from dragging. If you refer to the video of our first dance, I had the train buttoned up.
