I'm 5'6" and wore 3 inch heels and had it so the dress barely brushed the ground to be able to walk easily. The train is about 5 ft so it adds a little drama but has a bustle for when you want to dance.

I also had alterations done to fit my body to the measurements listed. Generally I wear XS. This is probably best for someone that is same size or smaller since it can be let out a little but I don't think too much. But I will add this dress was SUPER comfortable and I felt good moving, sitting, eating.

There is also a French bustle that makes walking around a breeze and is my favorite style of bustle since it looks seamless. And it's super easy to do! 2 of my friends did it for me in less than 2 minutes.
