The Dress

I am regretfully selling my beautiful Karen Willis Holmes Wedding dress and train attachment.
It served its purpose on the day, I felt like an absolute princess, I just don't have the room to store it and couldn't bare to have it sit in storage when it could help someone else feel like a princess on their special day too.

The dress is called Darcy and comes with the Diamond Train attachment.
The Dress retailed for $2999 and the train was purchased separately for $999.
I originally bought a size 6. However due to the big celebration being postponed with covid, we decided to have a baby which arrived just short of 8 weeks prior to our rescheduled date 😱
Amazingly, all that needed altering was the bust being let out by about 1cm on each side seam (thanks to breastfeeding). Original alterations include tightened straps, bust cups added and bustle on both the dress and the skirt attachment. No alterations to the length, it was perfect for me. Total alterations cost approximately $400. The Dress has also been professionally dry cleaned. No major marks left after inspecting it.
It does have a 2cm tear at the top of one of the Diamond pieces that connects to the band of the skirt (photo attatched), however I'm guessing that would be quite a cheap/easy fix. You also cannot even notice the tear once the dress is on. Also comes with original garment bag and coat hangers and matching sequin belt to conceal the skirt band.

My Measurements around the time of wearing the dress were:
Height: 178cm (without heels, approx 187 with heels)
Bust: 88cm
Waist: 77cm
Hips: 96cm

I have attached photos from the day I purchased the dress prior to alterations and then obviously how is was on the day.
Welcoming any inspections, hoping to sell for $2000 but open to negotiation. Try ons are more than welcome. Pick up from Kuraby or Capalaba. I'm also happy to drop off in you're fairly local.

Alterations

-Straps have been tightened.
-Seems have been let out approx 1cm on each side at the bust.
-Bustle added to skirt and dress
-Bust cups added
