The Dress

Jesus Peiro custom dress purchased in 2022 for my wedding.
The dress is a combination of JP 2214 (crepe jumpsuit & cape) and 2220 (a-line skirt with split).
This doesn’t exist anywhere else so if you love the look of a floaty bridal jumpsuit but the practicality and sexiness of a skirt with front centre split then this is the dress for you!

The dress itself was worn once and has been dry cleaned and pressed. A few marks remain on the hem of the dress and these may come out from another dry clean or alternatively if you need to take the dress up this will totally get rid of the marks. It rained on my wedding and the ground we were stood on for photos was clay/sand like hence some of the existing marks. They appear to be more visible on the inside hem of the dress which won’t really be visible to anyone else.

Details:
The dress is very comfortable and the square neckline and back along with the puffed sleeves make for a truly striking and individual dress. Please note this dress does not exist in any boutique as it is a combination of 2 existing JP designs. Detachable cape included with hooks inside the dress with hook & eyes. This added the statement of a long train which I then removed for the reception.
The material is a beautiful crepe fabric which flows so beautifully and did not make me feel too warm.
Alternations made to include a slightly higher split in the a-line skirt, shorter sleeves and a cuff added, slightly taken in down the zip at the back from the measurements provided.

Measurements: -
Uk 14-16 (I am typically a 12-14 but had the dress made to my exact measurements and then slightly tweaked a few weeks prior to the wedding)
Bust: 106cm
Underbust: 94cm
Waist: 96cm
Hip: 110cm
My height with shoes: 5ft 11in

These measurements were taken at my completion appointment just prior to minor alterations.

The dress has been dry cleaned and pressed. I love the idea of sustainability and for beautiful dresses to be given another outing and provide as much love and enjoyment as I had from wearing it!

Alterations

Alterations included the sleeves being custom made to sit just above the elbow which accentuated the puff sleeve. A slight cuff was also added.
Slight alterations made to bring the hemline slightly higher at the front to show off shoes.
Slight alterations made to the zip at the back to ensure the bodice fit perfectly.
