The Dress

This dress has a leafy, lacy design with a fitted top and flowing bottom. The fit is snug so that you feel supported. I am 5'7" and ca. 160 lbs. The bodice fit me just above the belly button. The top most layer of the dress is tulle with leafy lace applications that flow from the bodice towards the hem of the dress. The longest "stream" of lace is on the back of the skirt progressing into the train, which is of moderate length. The second layer features a glittery lace that adds detail to the skirt. The dress was worn only for bridal portraits and the day of the wedding. It has been professionally dry-cleaned. There is a small, very very faint stain above the right breast that cannot be seen unless really looked for. The last photo shows the dress in its current state - like new.

Alterations

Dress has been altered for length and bustling and the bodice was taken in a small amount (maybe an inch). Cups were added to the bodice for support (I'm a 34D). Lace applications were added to the bottom front hem of the skirt as well as on the skirt to lengthen some of the lace applications flowing from the bodice. Lace applications were added under the arms on both sides. A loop and clear button were added on either side to allow the "sleeves" to be tucked under the arm and out of the way should you want a "sleeved" and "sleeveless" look.
