The Dress

This was my dream wedding dress. I picked this dress out in 2019 for my 2020 wedding, which got postponed two years due to Covid. It gave me the best gift that I will cherish forever. I felt beautiful, sexy, classy, and elegant all at the same time on the most important day of my life. I am finally ready to say goodbye to it.

This kind of V-neck style dress was the "trend" at the time, but this dress stood out because its beauty was in the details. You can tell it's definitely not a cheap dress. The lace was hand picked and imported by the designer from Europe. It is obvious that much love was put into the ivory beadings and design of the sheer V-neck. The material of the dress is flowy and soft. It was and is such a dream dress. I could not have dreamt of a more beautiful dress. I knew it was "the one" when I tried it on.

The designer, Sonthai Gi, is a highly distinguished designer who worked in bridal houses such as Vera Wang before venturing out on his own. He put a lot of his heart and soul into this dress and one can tell. I bought it at his studio in San Jose, California.

This dress was only worn twice, once on the wedding day and another for a honeymoon photoshoot. It is in excellent condition, with only a few small tears/blemishes on the outermost layer of the dress, at the bottom of the dress, due to walking in it. It was carefully dry-cleaned afterwards.

The veil does not come with the dress.

Alterations

It was altered during normal fittings prior to the wedding to fit my waistline. A normal size 0-2 should fit well. The dress did not come with a label.
