The Dress

Selling my much loved wedding gown made by Ikeu Couture in 2018, because I need the space that it is taking up.

The dress is made from a silk mikado fabric underneath, overlayed with silk organza and beaded lace. The upper portion of the dress is fully covered in lace which drapes down over the hip area as well as the bottom end of the 3m long train.

I absolutely loved this dress, its long train and ballgown shape. I felt like a princess wearing it on the day - a once in a lifetime feeling of wearing something so big and beautiful for our special day. I also loved that the dress sparkled in the lights at our reception, it felt surreal. The back of the dress glides with you when you walk.

The dress was fully dry-cleaned the next day as I wanted to preserve it as best as possible and eliminate any staining, also didn't want any sweat to marinate in the fabric (it cost $500 to dry clean, this price has not been added to the original value) and is still looking great. There are a few little tears/grass stains from the photo shoot at the bottom hem of the dress, but these can be fixed. If you look at the 6th image walking down the stairs, this was at the very end of the reception so you can see the condition of the dress, there is a small tear, but the grass stains are barely visible. The tear may be fixed depending on the size of your heels and how much you can trim away. If you'd like to take the dress to a tailor to see your options for alterations/mending the hem, this is an option we can discuss.

The dress should fit a size 6-8 and will easily fit someone with slightly wider shoulders. It has been stored in a box with acid paper, and covered in a cloth bag to keep it protected.

The veil is included and is about 3m long from memory. Has also been dry cleaned.
