About the Dress

My Adeline dress has been properly cleaned and preserved by the prestigious Moline-Kronberg in Upper Montclair, NJ.

Cut from an airy, floral-embroidered tulle fabrication, Carolina Herrera's wedding gown features a tiered ballgown skirt with pleated overlay waist. Its corset bodice is crafted with a sweetheart neckline, and lace used from the Loire Valley in France.

I wore this dress only for the ceremony and for pictures, I changed into a different dress for the reception.

The dress can come with the tulle shoulder wrap (not Carolina Herrera, I had this made custom to wear on top!) if you ask for it.

Alterations

I am in between a size 6 and 8 (regular women’s clothing, not dress size) and in between a C and D bra cup. I had the dress slightly taken “out” by an expert tailor in NYC that has experience with manipulating the boning of a corset. Alterations are nearly invisible to the eye!
