The Dress

My dress is the Sherbet tulle bridal ball gown, sweetheart neckline, silk satin organza bodice with floral jewel encrusted band at natural waist, circular gathered skirt with horsehair hem, chapel train.
This dress was such a popular dress that the American show "Say Yes to the Dress" dedicated an entire episode to it. This dress is for the woman who does not want to look like everyone else and wants a dress that will be a true talking piece. It is not heavy to wear and easy to sit in, so don't let the volume scare you - this is a gorgeously well made designer wedding dress at a fraction of the cost.

Changes I made to the dress:

I have a larger bust and so had to add small inserts of the satin on either side of the dress to make room for my bustline, but it is not noticeable as it is on the side; there is a slight colour variation as what happens when fabric from a different roll happens. See the photo. I had some boning added to the bodice to add structure to make it a bit more haute couture. There is a slight rip on the very underside tulle layer (8 layers under the top tulle); you can easily cut it off or try to repair. See photo- I tried to add a contrasting colour under the tulle so you can see the rip better. I recommend cutting it as it is not ever seen and you would never notice it.

This dress will not disappoint you, as it is a gorgeous soft blush colour that will add romance and drama to your wedding. I was literally the talk of the town. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
