The Dress

Luna Willow Bridal collection is a luxury dress designer and are made in Australia, crafted using exclusively sourced crepe fabrics and are cut to make flattering fits for all body shapes.

The Tulum style, is made with matte soft stretch crepe and has a fitted, flattering, sexy silhouette. Simple, yet stylish. The neckline is a plunging v-shape with a small nude tulle insert. The back is an open plunge v-shape with a soft, breathtaking mermaid train, measuring 0.8m in length. This style is still current stock.

I added ivory feathers to the straps for an 'Old Hollywood' feel (which can also be easily removed) and also have some extra fabric from the same batch that the dress was made from, measuring 152 x 208cm. This could be used to have a cape/jacket etc to add to your look.

Alterations

I bought the dress as a size 14 but lost a lot of weight before the wedding, so it has been professionally altered to fit my size of 10. A bustle tie has also been added to the dress, which is simple to use and then the beautiful train does not get in the way on the dance floor. The standard wrist loop is also still in place.

I paid just over £500 for the alterations and for ivory feathers to be added to the sleeves.
