The Dress
Gorgeous Evie Young Bridal "Arrow" wedding dress. Has latte coloured silk underlay and sheer ivory lace on top. It has a long train with a bustle for pinning up after the ceremony and boning through the bodice holding the structure in the top half of the dress.
Has been dry cleaned and is in perfect condition. Label size is 8 but I am typically a size 10 in standard Australian dress sizing.
I absolutely adored my dress, it was very comfortable to wear and move around in, doesn't show any lumps and bumps because of the double silk/lace layers, easy to completely forget you are wearing a gown!
Alterations
The dress has been shortened, I am 160cm and wore 7cm heels so dress height is 167cm.
The middle section of the dress has been raised slightly so the mid-line was a bit higher, to fit the proportions of a shorter body length.
The sleeve/arm holes were reduced in size slightly to fit tighter, so it didn't fall off the shoulder.
