The Dress

Bridgerton beauty with a sexy edge. I loved and chose this dress because it was unique and reminded me of the Kiera Knightly Pride and Prejudice looks, but with a modern sexy fit. It's fully lined - except for the back, which is sheer lace. Lace insets trimmed with ribbon run down either side and kind of cinch you in, while accentuating curves, ending in a modest train. I love how it looks from every angle.
The construction is all there - hidden shoulder straps, bra cup inserts (which can be removed) and train ties around the back. There are 22 silk-covered buttons down the back then there's a zipper to from the waist-down so nothing bulges sitting or standing.
I wore it, had it dry-cleaned and boxed and finally decided to let it go!

Alterations

Minor from sample-size 8 - slight hemming, taken in at the waist and sleeve/shoulders - the waist measurement of 30" was taken with the dress on and snug but there's definitely some give either way.
