The Dress

J Andreatta Love in Portofino dress — a romantic, blush coloured, flowy dream of a dress. I adored wearing this dress, it was so comfortable and stunning. Super sad to sell it but will be thrilled to see someone else enjoy wearing it as much as I did on my wedding day :) The top layer is a beautiful floral print silk, then white tulle and blush tulle, then a structured material to add body, then a nude silk lining I had made and sewn in by an expert alterations shop to make it less sheer and make the flowers pop (note this lining is in all the wedding day photos but not in the final photo from the J Andreatta shop when I purchased it). Size-wise I have included my measurements and I am a 6-8. Given the a-line style the chest and waist are the key parts as the hips are more flexible. I am a smallish cup size (around a 10B) — it would probably most easily fit someone with a similar cup size. Happy to provide more measurements and details. I bought this dress in June 2022 from the J Andreatta shop in Surry Hills at the J Andreatta sample sale. As it was a sample, I had it dry cleaned at the dry cleaner recommended by Jess Andreatta (Limes Dry Cleaner Mosman) in July 2022 and I had professional alterations done at the alterations expert recommended by Jess Andreatta, Emergency Button in Double Bay (details below). Our wedding was on 6 January 2023. Straight after the wedding I had it drycleaned again at Limes Dry Cleaner Mosman in January 2023. I changed into a second outfit before the dancefloor to protect the dress :) There was sadly some rain on our wedding day so there are some dirt stains on the bottom of the dress remaining after dry cleaning. These are largely concentrated on the hem so should be fine if the dress is being hemmed and, given I am very tall, there should be some extra material to play with. There are also a few stains slightly higher up but they are small and still close to the hem. There is also some pulling and fraying in the silk in various places due to wear and tear and the very delicate nature of the fabric. Still in beautiful condition to wear. Alterations

Alterations done by alterations expert recommended by J Andreatta — Emergency Button in Double Bay. Cost $1775. Can provide detailed list but included adding padded bra cups, shortening hem, hand mending some tearing/fraying in material from wear and tear, and making/adding in a beautiful nude silk skirt lining so the dress was less sheer and to make the flowers on the top layer pop.
