The Dress

Wow, I love this dress so much! I wanted something floral and flattering to suit our woodland wedding but comfortable for all the hugging, eating, drinking and dancing that would take place and I definitely found it in this beauty! You would be paying for the exquisitely detailed lace work, quality fabric and design and surely one of the most comfortable wedding dresses around! The ecru lining with the ivory lace contrast is so stunning and I received the loveliest comments about the dress of my dreams! I am a UK size 12 and even though the dress is a UK 14, it fitted me perfectly. I am 5’6” and had the dress taken up so that it was floor length for me without heels as I wore flat sandals. I had subtle poppers added to the top of the straps to attach a cape to. The cape splits at the back showing off the stunning sheer lace work. The cape is included with the dress along with a white dress bag and peach hanger. Please see section below for further alterations. The dress has been dry cleaned since the wedding but there are a few tiny marks on the bottom edge of the dress and cape and on the thigh length row of sewn on floral lace. There are also a few tiny rips on the bottom of the cape, slight bobbling on the base of the lining (which wouldn’t be seen) and one very small hole in the lace on the dress which, due to the nature of the material, is hardly noticeable - you would need to know it’s there to notice. The dress was over £2000 new but I’m selling it for £750 to reflect the tiny snags just mentioned and cannot go any lower. Alterations

Beyond the poppers for the cape and the hem being raised as mentioned, the dress has had the following alterations: - Straps shortened for bust support - Satin button added to train and one to lining to pull it up whilst dancing - Some of the loose floral lace flowers around the v neck were sown onto the dress but the rest were left loose to keep that whimsical look!
