The Dress

Excellent condition Alyssa Kristin Sydney Dress.

UK14, has been altered to fit as size 12 at time of wedding (bar the bust).

Made from crepe. Double lined. It's a simple, effortless, very flattering and comfortable dress.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress, I felt wonderful in it and just had the best day.

Purchased at The White Closet in Didsbury, Manchester for £2,750.

Professionally dry cleaned by highly rated Village Dry Cleaners in Cholrton, Manchester (£225).

GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE DRESS:
Mesh triangles on the underarm -> This made the dress very comfy, nothing was digging in and they meant there was no overspill which can often be a pain when you have a slightly fuller figure. They also conveniently broke up the amount of white fabric around my bust and back...which I felt gave the illusion of a smaller bust.

Double lining -> Both layers are made from scuba material so I was very smooth and held in all day. Lets the dress fabric fall beautiful.

Button detailing -> Subtle and simple, nicely draws attention to your back and bum

Train -> I loved having a long, but not too long train. Had a wrist loop fitted for ease of movement.

DRESS CONDITION:
Very, very good!
Worn once in September 2023.
No marks or flaws on the main bodice, underarms, main skirt - in all the important places it looks like new.

I was very careful on the day and it's been stored in The White Closet Bag, in a non-smoking home since.

I have marked as minor flaw as there are a few very, very, faint and small marks near the hem of the dress post dry clean. These were a result of the inevitable contact with the floor on the day. (All bridal shops will warn you about the train and hem of your dress!).

Two faint marks on the outside, one on the train, one on the hem itself at the side. The other couple on the under side of the train.

They are not visible unless you look super close, more like slightly discolouration than marks - please see the video I have posted as there are multiple images of the dress including the hem.

Royal Mail only insure items up to value of £2,500 (if we did that next day signed for is approx. £20)
DPD will insure to full RRP of dress but are quoting £171 (based on MCR to LND delivery).

Depending on location I could deliver for a fee. We'll sort. Safety of the dress is the most important thing!
