The Dress

This gown is a white base with a hint of a hint of blush--the skirt is many layers of tulle, and one of those layers is blush--just enough to catch the eye but appear white to the eye. The neckline is a fine illusion lace that disappears on the skin supporting a beaded, sweetheart neckline bodice. There is a tie around the waist that cinches the gown together and forms a bow in the back. The beading for the bodice has a little bit of shine and carries down into the skirt. The skirt has a small train (super easy single point bustle included--you can see this in the dancing photo). The back of the dress is gorgeous pearl buttons on that illusion lace again, with beaded lace from the bodice wrapping around the mid back over the bow at the waist and the skirt. The veil is the Toni Federici Dominica veil and can be included depending on the offer.

I felt great in this gown all night--it's not heavy, and I didn't find the beading irritating. I loved the twirl of the skirt and the subtle blush tone. I really wanted a romantic, princess-y dress with a little sparkle and some unique detail, and this gown absolutely hit the mark.

Alterations

Hem: altered to fit ~5'5" height. I'm 5'2" and wore 3.5 inch heels
Waist: not altered, but in ordering, was eased 1 inch (18 would normally fit a 33inch waist)
Shoulders raised slightly
Cups added in bodice
Single point bustle added
