The Dress

The good bits!:

Selling my beautiful Jesus Piero dress, dress of my dreams. I will be sorry to see it go, but can't bear the idea of it never being enjoyed again! Whoever buys this gown will not be disapointed, it's so classic, yet bold and comfortable.

It's the pale-ivory micado satin that Jesus Piero use, a really lovely colour for all skin tones. The fabric is lovely, expensive and strong, but looks soft and regal.

The 121 gown has deep pockets and a sleek strappy back! It's A-line with split at the front which made it easy to wear something so extravagant, and get a peep of shoes when walking and sitting.

Measurement of skirt fromt the waist, to clarify : from the front waist to the higest part of the hem (front split) is 115cm. Then it spreads to a train at the back that is 170cm from the wasit, at the back.

Not so good bits!:
- The lining at the end of the dress has unraveled a little at the sides due to dry cleaning - this can be turned back in and mended easily. There are marks where the sticthes were in place, and some freying, but once it's rehemmed this will not be visible.

Otherwise, the dress is as fresh as a daisy.

Alterations

The dress has had an invisible teeny hook either side of the sholder to hold a cape-style veil. These are easily removed / invisible but thought I would leave them there is they are of any use. The front panels have also been boned, with a small dart, so to lift a larger bust. I have a smaller waist than most for my cup size, so this was needed. If you have a smaller chest size than 102cm check with your tailor to see if they're able to take this in for you.
