The Dress

Ellis Bridal - style number 18036

Full-length fit and flare dress with capped sleeves and a keyhole back.
It is made from ivory tulle with silver and white beading and embroidery.
This dress is unworn (apart from trying on!) and unaltered.

I bought this dress at the beginning of 2020 for my wedding party which, due to the pandemic, didn’t happen. We have not managed to reschedule it and it is unlikely I will wear this dress in the future. It currently hangs in my parents’ house looking sad so I would be very pleased if it could make someone else feel beautiful who can have happy memories in it :-)

I am a UK 8/10, around 5’5” with very little bust or curves. The dress is a very flattering shape. It is made of a lovely soft tulle that moves beautifully and has stunning embroidery and beaded detailing. As it is a sample some of the beading is loose/a few have fallen off (which I have saved) but it comes with spare beads and could be easily mended.

I think it is worth noting that it is also comfortable to wear - both sitting and standing. I did lots of arm lifting/leg kicking in the shop to make sure that it would be easy to move (dance!) in as this was important to me.
