The Dress

Elegant and timeless ivory lace Christina Wu Private Collection wedding dress with a gorgeous crepe off the shoulder neckline.

I bought this is November 2021 for my wedding in June 2022 and it made me feel absolutely beautiful. I hope it can do the same for you!

The dress has boning at the torso and a waist stay (a built-in elastic belt with clasps like a bra to keep the dress in place), so it acts as built-in shapewear...no Spanx needed! I am 5'1 and wore 3.5 inch heels with the dress.

The back of the dress has the appearance of lace buttons but is actually zippered. The eye for the clasp at the very top of the zipper broke but I believe that would be an easy fix since the hook is still there. There is also a small tear in the lace where the ribbon for the bustle is. I can't claim to know anything about sewing, but it looks like it's probably a pretty easy fix too.

I had the dress professionally cleaned ($215) by a company that specializes in cleaning and preserving wedding dresses, so that has also been factored into the price.

Alterations

I had the length altered, a bustle added and had the arm holes opened a little wider so that I could raise my arms above my head. These alterations cost a couple hundred dollars.
