The Dress

Size 10-12 ivory, chiffon custom made wedding dress. The under fabric in the bodice and skirt is a thick satin which helps the dress to fall beautifully. A full circle of ivory chiffon flows over the skirt and is entwined in a front knot at the top, which slims the waist and brings a uniqueness to the dress. Sleeves are a thin chiffon with elasticated wrists. V neck and back with peal buttons (and zip) down the back.

When I first was fitted for this dress I had larger measurements (92cm bust, 78-79cm waist, 102cm hips) so the dress was made to fit those measurements. I ended up a little smaller at the wedding but because of the flowy and boho style of the dress it actually looked beautiful a bit loose. Also hip measurement is not a big issue as the dress is only fitted at the bust and waist - it is completely loose over the hips.

This dress made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I was a little uncomfortable about my waist having endometriosis and prone to bloating! But this dress looked so flattering and I felt so comfy and relaxed wearing it. It was a windy day at our wedding, but this turned out amazing in the photos! This dress looks absolutely stunning in photos and in person. While I thought about keeping it, I'd prefer someone else get some more joy out of it!

Alterations

Minimal - I had the dress shortened as it was very, very long and that didn't suit what I wanted (not to trip!). I also had to add an extra button at the back (clear and not noticeable) as I lost a bit of weight after the final fitting and alterations and it was a tad loose. If you lean more towards a size 12 you could always just remove this top button.
