Well ladies, if it's a transformation you want, it's a transformation you'll get with this beauty!
I walked into the wedding dress "just to look" as I'd already bought my dress online. However my mum had purchased a champagne experience for me, so I had absolutely no intention of purchasing anything.
When we entered, the lady asked, "So, what's your budget?" £2000! mother dearest declared, reaching for a champagne flute. Yeah right!

And so the process began. At first I asked for the boho, gypsy style dresses which flared out under the bust. I'd put on a bit of weight (lockdown wasn't kind to any of us) and I was going for the mask and disguise approach. This was also the style of dress I'd purchased and so I thought this was "my thing". Towards the middle of the session, she went rogue, coming into the fitting room with this gown, which if I'm honest, looked far too plain for what I was looking for, and sacrilege - I had the cheek to joke to my mum that it was a bit "granny classic" for what I wanted, but I'd try it on, just to humour her.

Boy oh boy, was I wrong.
As soon as she snapped me into her, I transformed... Into Jessica Rabbit.
This was confirmed by the silence that swamped the room, mum, best friend, aunt, gran merry on champers could only stare in silent shock, as my mum murmured "How much...?"

£2000 on the nose she said, but it comes with an insert bodice and a diamante belt that we could do you a deal on.

I was hardly listening, so intently was I staring at my now non-existent gut and my shapely waist.
From the flattering sweetheart neckline to the internal structured corset to the splendidly luxurious layers of tulle. Each facet was ensured to look like I'd stepped out of a magazine. Gobsmacked. She (yes she has a persona) made me walk taller, stand up straighter and sashay like a lady, I actually felt like a bride. Coming back to reality with the words £2k ringing in my ears, I reluctantly stepped out of her, ready to try on a couple more dresses before heading home, but my eye kept roving back to her, searching her out amongst the multitude of dresses. After a couple more, I was done. Upset that I'd been intimate with her, as now, everything else including Missy at home would pale in comparison.

Until the lady asked if I wanted to do something "just for fun". Be warned when you hear this ladies. These women work long hours in Sarah Jessica Parker heels, nothing they do is just for fun. But I was curious... What?
"Why not just try on Cooper with the crystal encrusted bodice and the belt. Just so you can get the full effect...?"
What else was there to do but indulge? Final nail in the coffin. When she snapped the belt around my now-existant waist all I could say was "How much for it all?"

Well suffice to say, that was the day I owned two wedding dresses, the first sat like the unloved step child, I haven't even cared to sell it yet, but will do, once I find Cooper a home. Is it you?
I'm happy to send her on her way with both the bodice and the belt for the right price.

I graduated July 2022. The dress was comfortable and I took off the long sleeved body-suit to have a different look in the evening.

So here goes the official description - it says Mermaid but I believe it's more Trumpet style, as you can see by the photos.

Alterations

I brought it in a size 16 so that it could be adjusted perfectly. It was mainly the waist and bust area that were altered.
