The Dress

I chose this dress with the destination and time of year in mind. It's great for a summer wedding but I always imagined it could be dressed up with a fur for the winter time. Beading and embroidery on the bodice are classy and elegant. The little pick ups at the front by the waist line add nice dimension to the gown.

Although the size is small, the back is a zipper and could always be changed to corset/lace up to allow for more room.

The dress was light and flowy, I loved walking in it. Bodice was secure, I never felt like it was going to slip or expose my chest, never pulled on it or had to adjust it throughout the day.

Dress was nearly a perfect fit on the wedding day, only complaint was the bodice was a little snug but I got married outside in Florida during the summer so I think I swelled slightly.

*This dress comes with the cascading cape! Cape has a train. Beaded neck piece can easily be replaced with another to suit your style preference (I used the central part of a necklace and had the seamstress attach it to the cape).

*Dress and cape have both been cleaned and preserved and are currently in a display box. Guaranteed not to yellow for 100 years as long as you use gloves when opening and handling the gown so it will stay pristine until you are ready to wear it.

Alterations

Train was removed, entire dress is floor length, bodice taken in slightly with cups added
