The Dress

Berta Wedding Dress, made in Israel. Size 40. This stunning Illusion mermaid dress with train was purchased at the luxury Panache Bridal showroom in Beverly Hills, C.A., in 2022. The detailing of this dress is more than exquisite. There are very very small clear sequins sewn on top of all of the lace applique. You don't notice the sequins because they are so small, they just make the whole dress shimmer and shine in a very classy & subtle way. The dress also has a beautiful vintage look to it. The fit is beyond amazing, no bra or shapewear is needed as it just sucks everything in when you zip it up! It is extremely comfortable and easy to move in. Not scratchy at all.

This dress made my wedding day! I felt like I didn't need to do anything other than have this dress. The moment I put it on, I felt like the most beautiful bride in the world. That's what Berta dresses do..! I have had the dress professionally cleaned by a wedding dress preservationist. Let me know if you need any other information.

Alterations

Alterations have been done to the upper back portions. Pieces of lace have been added to the back left and right sides just over both of the shoulder blades. It was done so well that you can't tell that it's been done, this is all shown in the pictures. I also had the buttons redone, they were clear and I thought you could see the zipper too much, so we replaced them with beautiful white pearlescent buttons, that hides the zipper and show up much better in pictures. I also had the bottom cut to my height, I am 5' 8.5" and I wore 4" heels. The image of me in the store in the dress, on the red round stand, was before it was cut to my height. All the other images show it now cut so that the front just touches the ground.
