The Dress

I purchased this dress in May 2021 for my wedding in San Diego in 2021. I was looking for something that was comfortable, lightweight, elegant and didn't need alterations. I fell in love with this Kelly Faetanini dress the minute I tried it on! We got married over-looking the water in San Diego at a Hawaiian themed restaurant and I wanted a dress that was elegant & classic, while still fitting the laid-back vibe of tiki cocktails and waterfront views. The organza silk gives this dress a flowy elegance that looks beautiful in photos while feeling weightless when you finally get to enjoy the dance floor! Two of my favorite parts of the dress are the understated sparkle the beading on the bodice gives off and the elegant buttons that go all the way down the back of the dress. I had the boning customized to be inside, so as to not take away from the beautiful beading and mesh of the bodice. The only alterations made to this dress were small bra pads inserted into the bodice and a bustle added.
