The Dress

Like many brides, I had always dreamed of wedding dress shopping and had planned to make the most of it.. 100 dresses later of all shapes and designs, this was to be the beautiful gown which I couldn't stop thinking about..

This is a classic, A-line bridal gown with a full princess tulle skirt and delicate, floral lace and rhinestone appliques.

It features an elegant V-neckline, with illusion lace straps of crystal tulle and rhinestones and a deep V-back.

The voluminous skirt is trimmed with beautiful, scalloped lace edging, for an elegant fairy-tale look.

The dress fits perfectly and I was very comfortable, however a little hot from the waist down during the afternoon of the wedding, when this summer's heat wave temperatures were peeking around 29 degrees.

It's really easy to get in and out, as it has a zip back (the zip is hidden), eliminating any undue getting ready stress. My knowledge of the bustle is limited, as the bridesmaids had that responsibility, however that was also easy to attach, and when the train is up, it fully integrates into the shape / silhouette of the skirt.

The dress is in excellent condition, there was light soiling on the gown after the wedding (at the bottom of the dress where it had touched the floor) I took it to a well-established and highly recommended dry cleaners, and the dress looks like new again. I have also bought a wedding dress box to keep the dress, again from a reputable company, whilst it finds a new owner / home.
