The Dress

Berta 20-113 - The dress of my dreams! I never imagined choosing this style of dress nor splurging in the price the way I did BUT I absolutely fell in love the moment I tried it on and could not be happier with my decision.
There is no match to a Berta dress. They are a work of art, with such intricate and creative details. This dress has a sweetheart neck, an internal bodysuit, a high slit and a full length ball gown skirt. It is an off-white, greigish colored tulle with white embellished details.
It is extremely comfortable and flattering. I felt confident no matter which way I stood or which angle the photographer used. I was able to move around, sit, and dance in this dress very easily. I loved the way it looked, felt, and photographed!

Alterations

I was in between sizes because I have an hourglass shape with wide hips so the original dress was a size 44, and the top was slightly taken in and cups were put in. The length in the front of dress was shortened (I'm 5'3") to enhance the slit but the back was not touched. The back of dress originally had clasps for closure, but my tailor replaced these with a zipper for ease. It is not visibly different.
