The Dress

This is a custom tailored Liz martinez , Cecilia gown with a detachable over-skirt (sold separately or as a bundle with dress).

I met Liz Martinez in person at her 2021 LA trunk show when I bought the dress. We decided to modify the sleeves of the original gown (to better accommodate my beach wedding) and replaced the long billow-like sleeve with a detachable off-shoulder sleeve. Removing the sleeves, transforms the dress into a beautiful low-back illusion gown(appears strapeless but wears like a sleeveless dress). Paired with the over-skirt, the dress can be styled as three separate looks: 1) Dress with detachable off-shoulder sleeve (as shown in bridal photos); 2) Dress with off-shoulder sleeve + over-skirt (as shown in ceremony photo; 3) Dress without sleeves/over-skirt (as shown in reception photos).

I am selling the detachable over-skirt (retails for $1100 USD; selling as separate for $700) separately but would be willing to bundle with the dress for a discounted price. I wore the over-skirt during my ceremony to give a fuller bridal look and removed for the reception for a softer, more romantic feel.

I will included the extra floral appliqué fabric that was sent with the dress in case you want to add more onto the dress.

Alterations

This gown was hand-made, with customizations to my body measurements. I had breast pads sewn into the dress (as the top part is completely sheer) and a bustle as part of my final alterations.
