The Dress

The Payton gown has a subtly fitted silhouette through the bust, waist and upper hips, and wonderful fullness in the skirt with a train
The sleeves are fitted to the elbow then flare out into draped fullness around your wrists.
There is a keyhole detail in the chest construction, with two lace layers through bust and an open low back. There is also a lace half-slip to give the dress an edgy sheerness
The shell is made of cotton Guipure lace with embroidered cotton mesh, and the lining is a blend of silk and spandex. .

Measurements of the dress taken flat -

13 inches across the waistband
17 inches pit to pit
15 inches shoulder seam to seam
15.5 inches from armpit to the opening of the sleeve
22 inches from armpit to the longest point of the sleeve
60 inches from the neck to the bottom of the front of the dress
73 inches from the neck to the bottom of the back of the dress

I’m 5’4” and had a small train with 5inch heels (seen in video)
Also worth noting I'm a 34B in bra size

Alterations

I bought this dress off the peg as a size 10.
I had the waist nipped in at the band and a bit at the top of the shoulder and under the arms taken in. I don't have a short torso but I think these dresses are made to accommodate very tall women (I'm 5'4")

The sleeves were also slightly shortened to reveal more of the wrist (much more flattering!) The finish on the sleeve was raw so no ugly seams to deal with, some loose threads need to be trimmed.

I also had a hook & bustle added.
