About the Dress

Stunning Savin Alika designer wedding dress!! Beautiful and unusual flattering design.

I wore it summer 2022 for my wedding day and not only felt beautiful, but also comfortable! I got married in Cyprus and found the dress to be light and not too heavy for the hot weather. So if you’re getting married in a hot climate, it’s a win!

Worn for wedding day, dry cleaned and in good condition, no marks or stains. Some minor flaws described below.
RRP: £3,000

The front and sides have a nude netting so it’s not completely open. There is padding in the top which can be removed if wanted. But no bra needed! There is also a loop for holding the train up and a smaller loop for pinning the dress up for dancing!

The dress is unusual in that the top is a beautiful plain ivory and all the detail is in the lower part of the dress. This really set the dress apart for me.

In the last picture, you’ll see there are some holes in the netting underneath the dress. I don’t think this is visible in the other pictures when the dress is hanging up. However, you may be able to have the netting mended.

I have offered the dress for a fair price given the minor flaws.

Alterations

Size 12 was ordered from the designer, have had it tailored to measurements as below:
From join line between top and skirt of dress (under waistband on dress) to bottom of front of dress: 105cm - you would need to measure from just under your bust to where you want the skirt to land. Mine was just above the floor and I wore heels.
From top of shoulder strap to bottom of dress (at the front): 141cm
Waist measurement (measured around the belt and sits as on pictures): 73cm
Shoulder to under bust 34cm
My height: 5ft 2.5 inches
Back trails on floor
My bust size is 34C and dress has removal padding inside.
Tie on the back has been sewn onto dress as shown in pictures.
