The Dress
Simple, sophisticated, crepe gown.
I loved wearing this dress for my early summer wedding, but it would work equally well for a wedding in cooler months. The crepe is quite heavy and very flattering for such a slim fitting dress.
I chose to accessorise this dress with coloured shoes and jewellery for an informal, fun feel, but its super elegant and would also be perfect for a more formal day.
Alterations
I had this dress taken in as it was a size 12 and too loose, so it was now more like a size 10.
I also had the train on this dress shortened slightly for practicality, but it still had enough of a train to feel elegant.
I had the waist band replaced with a narrower band and the straps altered.
I also had some cups added under the lining so I didn't need to wear a bra with the spaghetti straps.
