The Dress
A simple and elegant dress, perfect for a rustic chic, mountain or beach wedding. Bought in the USA (it is a US size 6; EU 38). It has an easy drape and fits nicely at the bustline - I put it on and could wear it "as is". I only choose to alter it because I did not want a train, which made it easier to walk around our farm and rustic barn location. Lace insets in the back give it more of a dramatic flair. The skirt is more fitted, in the waist and then falls to the floor with a slight A-shape. Happy to send more pictures if there is interest!
Alterations
I shortened the dress to floor length (I am 167 without heels; was 174 with heels) so it has no train. The lace inset in the back is a little longer than the rest of the dress, and the inset was cut slightly higher. I also added fabric to the inner arms so that the lace was less scratchy and more comfortable.
