The Dress

Music skirt , size 6 ( please note this skirt has sold out on CD website but was retailing at £675)
Itala top size 8 ( I originally ordered a 6 but it was just too tight on my shoulders). It retails at £250
Sigrid bodice in S ( 8) - retails at £140.
I wore it to my wedding party ( few days after the actual ceremony). I wanted something sexy, unique and modern. The fact that its not a one piece, but a high waisted skirt and a cropped top made it look really special.
the lace is so delicate and it looks amazing. Silk underskirts are very light and soft.
There is just such a high quality to this dress. it was expensive to buy but the quality really shows
I had a theme of "lace and pearls" and teamed the outfit with pearl necklace, bracelets and a pearl handbag.
The dress looked romantic and sexy at the same time. If you are looking for something different, with and edge, that the outfit for you.
I loved how the skirt moved and how light it felt. it has two silk underskirts
The top has loads of silky buttons at the back, which you can see on one of the photos
The bodice was very comfortable. I had a bra underneath but you could get away with not wearing one as it was padded.
Please note, I have carefully removed labels from both tops so they are not visible. I have them all as well as the tags and spare buttons
I had the skirt shortened at the front ( please see details below) so i didn't trip over it as it was originally very long
Please note the garment has been professionally dry cleaned.

There are some small marks on the underskirts which could not get removed but they are really faint and not at all visible when you wear the skirt.

Please also note that i also have a Dee skirt in size 8 for sale. I changed into it for dancing later in the evening. its a knee length skirt

Alterations

I am 5.5ft and the skirt was far too long for me at the front. i had it shortened by a prof seamstress. she lifted the lace at the front and shortened underskirts. back is untouched. it looks like tit has a train now. the length difference is visible in one of the photos
