The Dress
Beautiful traditional style ball gown wedding dress with gold and red embroidered details and a little sparkle with beads and diamanté on the bodice. The embroidery continues through the bottom hem of the satin skirt and again repeated on the tulle underskirt. It has an asymmetric shape to the skirt as seen in the picture with a train.
I am a size 8-10 with bust size 34B and it fits nicely. The antique mannequin it is on is a size 10/12 which is why the zip would not fasten to the top.
Zip back with buttons that fasten over it to cover the zip.
The bodice is boned and shaped giving support and structure with it skimming over the hips into a big skirt.
It was a sample dress bought many moons ago, never used as I changed my mind and wanted something with more flowers. It has since been stored in a dress bag in a blackout box to protect from sunlight. As far as I am aware it has no marks and has never been outside. The original tags are not on it but it is unworn.
