The Dress

Scalloped Chantilly lace from the waist up that continues down to line the hips, providing a slimming effect. The lace has very subtle sequins throughout that dot the delicate bodice. The lace flows into a sleek skirt of fitted crepe that continues into a beautiful train. I added an under bustle that, post ceremony, ensures you can dance the night away in style with ease. Classic and timeless.

Purchased in Jan 2022 for my May 2022 wedding. I'm 5'7" and I was able to wear my 2.5" heels and later my white sneakers during the reception. I have a 36DDD cup and wanted to go braless. The bust has built-in cups and I slightly altered the bodice to provide a comfortable lift (see alternation notes). It's the only time I've been able to go without a bra, and it was very comfortable!

Condition: Two of the buttons came off in the nights revelry, but I found replacements and had them professionally sewed on by a seamstress. Additionally, a couple of the bustle ties frayed/shortened a bit during dry cleaning (see pic). When the train is out, if you look very closely, there’s a slight discoloration where the dress, when bustled, hits the floor. But you really have to look for it. Otherwise, the dress is in really good condition and professionally dry cleaned ($200).

Alterations

Took out the hips 0.5", slightly took in the top of the dress (shoulders) to help lift the bust, shortened the dress so it would hit the floor when I wore my 2.5" heels (I'm 5'7"), and added an 11-point under bustle.
